Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology (SJIC) Bangalore, is a tertiary care autonomous institute run by the Government of Karnataka, in
Bangalore. It presently has 530 in-patient beds for
cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery and pediatric cardiology, spread over two twin eight story buildings and is considered one of the largest dedicated heart hospitals in Asia. The new building which was commissioned in 2001, was built at a cost of 17 million dollars

The original building for SJIC was located in
Victoria Hospital complex.

Bangalore Medical College, which forms the only government run medical college in Bangalore.
