Sri Venkateswara College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi in India. Commonly referred to by the name "venky" among the student community of the University. Over the last 50 years it has grown exceptionally and contributes largely towards the traditional undergraduate education in the country.In 2004, it was recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as the "College with Potential for Excellence".
In 2009 former college principal Dr. A. Sankara Reddy was awarded the prestigious Padma Shri award for his contributions in the field of literature and education.
