Stella Reid

Stella Reid (born 3 October 1964) is a British nanny, best known as the co-star of the Fox network reality television show Nanny 911, on which she shares her child-rearing expertise with desperate parents.

Early life

Reid was born in Burnley, Lancashire and attended Towneley High School and Habergham Sixth-form. Burnley Express Accessed 2011

Biography

Reid moved to the United States in 1989. She is married and has a 19-year-old stepson, named Justin.

She is the co-author of Nanny 911: Expert Advice for All Your Parenting Emergencies, published by Harper Collins, along with Deborah Carroll, co-star of Nanny 911.

Reid also contributes to Los Angeles Family magazine every month offering her sage advise to weary parents.

Parody

• In 2006, Reid was spoofed on an episode of South Park entitled "Tsst."
• Reid and her Nanny 911 co-nannies were also spoofed in an edition of Mad Magazine.
