Strathclyde Law School

Strathclyde Law School was established in 1964 and operates within the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences at the University of Strathclyde, in Glasgow, Scotland.

The Law School operates from the Lord Hope Building (named after Lord Hope of Craighead, Chancellor of the University and Deputy President of the UK Supreme Court). The Law School's new facilities were officially opened by the Lord Advocate, Elish Angiolini QC in February 2007.

Postgraduate courses, including the Diploma in Legal Practice, are currently available from the Law School having previously been available from the Glasgow Graduate School of Law, run in collaboration with the University of Glasgow from Strathclyde's campus.
