Super Commando Dhruva (सुपर कमाण्डो ध्रुव in Devanagari script) is a fictional superhero in comic books published by Raj Comics. The character first appeared in "Pratishodh Ki Jwala" and was created by writer and artist Anupam Sinha. Dhruva's creator gave him the ability to talk to animals and birds, great agility, skill in martial arts, a very sharp brain and the strongest willpower among humans, enabling him to combat several powerful super-villains, including Grand Master Robo, Chandakaal, Mahamanav, Dhwaniraaj, Chumba, Bauna Vaman etc. He can even talk to Dolphins.

Super commando Dhruva became an instant hit among comics readers, young and old, soon after appearing in the comics arena. In a world clogged with conventional super-heroes with dark back-grounds, aliases, and super-powers, he appeared as a breeze of fresh air. Superheroes would beat villains using some super power they had. Dhruva was an exception to this trend. He was one super-hero that a common man could relate to. Unlike conventional super-heroes, he didn't use aliases to hide his identity. He had no special super powers and fought villains using his sharp brain while making use of things around him.
