) is a Sri Lankan cricketer
. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler.
Considered to be one of the most gifted Sri Lankan players, Perera's sideways action which giving him a great ability to swing the ball significantly has led him to be labelled as one of the better all-rounders currently playing the game in Sri Lanka - both accolades bestowed upon him by Dav Whatmore

and hit an entertaining innings, finishing just short of his half-century.
