The Sydney International Aquatic Centre is a swimming venue in Sydney, Australia. For the 2000 Summer Olympics, it hosted the swimming, diving, synchronized swimming, the medal events for water polo, and the swimming portion of the modern pentathlon competitions. The stadium currently holds 10,000 people but had a boosted capacity of 17,000 during the 2000 Summer Olympics and was built in 1994. It is Australia's largest swimming area.
