The Sydney University Symphony Orchestra (SUSO) is the premier orchestra at the University of Sydney's main campus in Australia.

SUSO was founded in 1948 as the "Pro Musica Orchestra" and is currently made up of around 70 musicians from all faculties across the university.

SUSO has been conducted by George Ellis since 2006.

SUSO's main sponsors are the University of Sydney Union and donations from the public.

2010 Concert Season

¡Olé!- A celebration of Spanish music: Friday 20 April. Featuring guitar soloist Rodrigo Santibanez.

If music be the food of love- A celebration of Shakespeare in music: Sunday 15 August. Featuring guest presenter Robert Alexander, Bell Shakespeare.

A little lunch music- Mozart, Mozart and more Mozart: Monday 27 September. Featuring pianist Kathryn Selby.

The Sounds of Triumph: Friday 22 October. Featuring ARIA award winning pianist Gerard Willems.
