The Biggest Reasons You Should Avoid MLM
MLM is something that will show you how to make money. In fact, you can make money online when using certain companies. You know what MLM is. Don't you? Multi Level Marketing is what MLM stands for. It is a particular business model that many people confuse with illegal pyramids schemes. When a sale is made, you get a certain percentage, and the person above you, the person that hired you, also gets a percentage of the sale. You then hire someone else and earn from their work (and the person who hired you earns as well) and so on and so forth. It's easy to get taken in by the promise of prosperity. On that same note, let's discuss a few things about MLM that you might find disturbing.
Just about the biggest lie told by Multi Level Marketing is that it is a brand new way of finding happiness and financial freedom. Yet, MLM isn't a 'new' opportunity, as it's been around in one form or another for decades. It has been online practically since the Internet became popular and before that it was done as door to door sales. These days most people are already willing to avoid anyone selling MLM. This is also the reason why new-comers to MLM find it difficult to recruit new people. Is network marketing really "the best way to show off or promote your new business or service"? Some say this is true, others do not. What is the real answer? It's actually a lie. Doing door-to-door retail sales that was done 20 years ago by most MLM people is now a thing of the past. The old way of selling no longer exists. In fact, new ways that are much more efficient are being used to promote services and products everyday. The MLM business model is very simple: recruit other people and have them do most of the work so you can reap the rewards. It's rare that anybody in that chain actually does any real work.
How many MLM sites have you found that have encouraged you to sell your products to your friends and family members? More importantly, how many MLM sites have you come across that have encouraged you to recruit your friends and family members? These sites tell you that your friends and loved ones will be happy to work for you to sell your products to the people they know. In truth, asking people around you to sell MLM products can be a guaranteed way to offend friends and family members. You might be lucky enough to sell one or two items and you may even recruit a couple of people, but the likelihood of you recruiting enough people who will continue selling those high-priced products so you can earn commissions from their work is extremely unrealistic.
The internet is filled with lies about how MLM really works. But, a lot of people realize that MLM is not a good business model and stay away from it altogether. But, many still go in the wrong direction. Maybe the opportunities look profitable. Maybe they are new to the idea of earning online.
No matter what happens, you should know about the possible myths that surround MLM.
