Description:
The California Reich is a 1975 documentary on a group of Neo-Nazis in San Francisco, California and Tracy, California, USA. They are members of the National Socialist White People's Party a US Nazi party started by George Rockwell. The film received a nomination in 1976 by the Academy Awards for best documentary. The film was also screened at the 1976 Cannes Film Festival, but wasn't entered into the main competition.

The film features scenes with Jewish Defense League leader Irv Rubin confronting American Nazis. Rubin was a dynamic spokesman for traditional Jewish values and became concerned when the Nazi movement began showing up shortly after the end of WWII.
