The Second Barbra Streisand Album is the title of Barbra Streisand's second solo studio album. The album was released in August 1963, just six months after the release of her debut album, The Barbra Streisand Album, and recorded in just four days in June 1963 .
Radio stations received mono and stereo blue vinyl promo albums, making this Columbia's first Streisand colored vinyl .
Chart performance and sales
Just like her previous album, the record didn't produce one charting single, but still managed to do well in terms of sales and chart performance. The album reached #2 on Billboard's Pop Albums Chart, surpassing the peak of her previous album, which reached #8. To date, the album has been certified Gold by the RIAA.
