Chicago,
Illinois in 1988. The band's discography includes eight

In 2011, EMI stated that they will be reissuing all of The Smashing Pumpkins discography. The albums will be deluxe editions and fully remastered. I Mellon Collie is considered 9× platinum since it is a double album with length exceeding 100 minutes–the album shipped upwards of 4,700,000, which equals 9,400,000 discs total.<br/>
II Machina II had a free internet release and thus did not chart and was not eligible for certification.<br/>
III Teargarden by Kaleidyscope thus far is only available as a free digital download, and thus cannot yet chart and is not yet eligible for certification.
