Thoubal

<!-- See WikiProject Indian cities for details -->Thoubal is a city, a municipal council with 18 municipal wards and District Headquarter in Thoubal district in the Indian state of Manipur. The new market building has been constructing. Main tourist places are Chinga Lairembi temple, Manipur Sahitya Samiti building, Tomjing ching, Panthoibee temple, etc. Main shopping centres are Thoubal Keithel, Ningombam Luxmi Bazar, Athokpam Bazar etc. Siroi Offset Printers and Siroi Group are main business centres of Thoubal. Thoubal College is the only government degree college and Dr RK Yaiskul Singh was the principal of the college (now currently working as addl director in directorate of education U). The Chaoyaima Higher Secendary School, Evergreen Flower School, Ananda Purna High School, Ruda Academy, Paradise English School, etc. are pioner schools of Thoubal. State Bank of India (SBI), United Bank of India (UBI) and Manipur State Cooperative Bank Ltd (MSCB Ltd) are banks operated in the area.
