Trent Thomason (born on February 4, 1972 in Long Beach, California) is a Christian keyboardist, vocalist and songwriter.

Thomason grew up in Long Beach, California and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School, going on to attend Chapman University where he received his Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy degree in 1999. Thomason began playing keyboards/singing professionally at the age of 18 when his grandpa (Jimmy Thomason) began sneaking the young lad into clubs in California to play with his western swing band. When he graduated from Chapman, he began working as a Registered Music Therapist while in the process of moving to Australia. It was then, six months after graduating (and having just moved to Australia) that he got the call to audition for the Christian rock band Petra in Nashville, TN. He got the part and participated in their 2000 Grammy winning album Double Take.

While touring with the band, Thomason felt he should focus on his own projects and left the band shortly after. In 2002 he released his debut solo project titled Hold Out Your Hands and followed it up in 2004 with his second album entitled TEN.

Thomason married Alison Browning on April 4, 2009 and currently resides in Melbourne, Australia. The couple met in April 2006 and were engaged during their trip to Vietnam in 2008. Thomason has two children from a previous marriage - Bailey James and Ainsley Bree.
