Union Bank of California Tower

The Union Bank of California Tower is an , 15 story office building in Portland, Oregon completed in 1969, and designed by the firm of Anshen and Allen of San Francisco. It is an International-style building, with a strong presence on Broadway. The most prominent feature of the Union Bank of California are its exposed service cores, clad in light gray slate with a greenish tint. It is said that the slate was quarried from the same area in Wales as the stone used in Stonehenge.
