United Democratic Front (India)

United Democratic Front (UDF) is an alliance of political parties of Kerala state in India. This alliance is led by the Indian National Congress.

In the 2011 assembly elections, UDF defeated the LDF by a mere margin of 72 to 68 seats and came back to power again under the leadership of shri. Oommen_Chandy. Before this, the last UDF government (2001-2006) was also led by Oommen Chandi, which lost the state government to the Left Democratic Front in the Kerala Assembly Election.
