Viacom Productions was a television production company active from 1974 until 2004.

History

• 1971: Viacom Enterprises (VE) was reincorporated from CBS Enterprises (formerly CBS Films).
• 1973: Viacom Enterprises was spun-off from CBS.
• 1974: Viacom Productions (VP) was launched as the production arm of VE.
• 2004: Paramount Television folded VP, which had been a division of PTV since Viacom acquired Paramount Pictures in 1994.

Note

The 4400 continued as a Paramount Network Television production for season 2. The show became a CBS Paramount Network Television production for its last two seasons after the Viacom/CBS Corporation split at the end of 2005.
