Vienna Hyatt

Vienna Hyatt (nee' unknown maiden name, previously Coleman) is a character on the American soap opera As the World Turns. She has been played by Ewa Da Cruz from June 16, 2006 to July 19, 2006 and from October 26, 2006 to July 19, 2010.

Character Story History

We first met Vienna in the summer of 2006, when she ran into Katie Peretti on a cruise ship, who was there with her new husband Mike Kasnoff. Vienna and Katie took an instant dislike in each other, mostly because Vienna was the wealthy heiress who was arrogant and looked down at Katie. Katie later discovered that the man with whom Vienna was with was none other than Katie’s ex husband Simon Frasier. As soon as he saw his ex-wife, Simon couldn’t stop thinking about her and dumped Vienna and followed Katie back to Oakdale.

Vienna surfaced months later again during Halloween, when she was the date of the fictional Prince Adolpho, who was visiting Oakdale. Vienna wore a priceless diamond necklace, but found it was missing after the party, or rather after she had spent the night with Simon. She accused both Simon and Carly Snyder of stealing the necklace and replacing it with a fake one. However, it could not be proven and the two were let go. Weeks later, Katie released a new book in which she revealed the crime Simon and Carly committed, and that they did steal the necklace and replaced it. Vienna wanted justice, but Simon outsmarted her and he and Carly fled from the country to an unknown location.
