Demographics

Visavadar has an average literacy rate of 71%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 77%, and female literacy is 65%. In Visavadar, 12% of the population is under 6 years of age.

Visavadar MLA is Kanubhai Bhalala, elected in assembly election 2008.Visavadar is Taluka (Tahesil) Place.

Holy place

Satadhar is the very holy place of the Gujarat. It is the place of AapaGiga who is the famous Sent of Visavadar. TulsiShyam, a famous 'Garam Pani no Zro' is near Visavadar. It is very holy place. The people came to see it.
