The foundation of the Vivekananda Vidya Mandir was laid on the auspicious day of ‘Ratha Yatra
’ in 1970 on the plot of land allotted by the authorities of the Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited, Dhurwa, Ranchi
. The first batch passed AISSE in the year 1980.
