Vladimir Borisovich Gabulov (, , born 19 October 1983 in Mozdok, North Ossetian ASSR) is an association footballer who played goalkeeper of Ossetian ethnicity currently playing for Russian Premier League club FC Dynamo Moscow and Russia. He was part of Russia's Euro 2008 squad as the third choice goalkeeper.

His surname can also be transliterated as Gaboulov.

His younger brother Georgi Gabulov also plays football professionally.


International career

Gabulov made his debut for Russia on 22 August 2007 against in a friendly Poland before being substituted by Anton Shunin at half-time. He made is competitive debut in a Euro 2008 Qualifier against Macedonia and was sent off in the 69th minute for a foul on Goran Maznov. On October 17, 2007 he was chosen to play in a vital must win match against England, due to the injury to Igor Akinfeev and poor form of Vyacheslav Malafeev. He made several key saves as Russia made a comeback from a goal down to defeat England 2–1.
