Volga Cansino, née Hayworth (August 8, 1897 – January 25, 1945 "Mrs. Eduardo Cansino; Mother of Rita Hayworth, Film Actress - In Dancing Team" The New York Times obituary, January 27, 1945), was an American dancer and vaudevillian under the name Volga Hayworth. A popular showgirl on Broadway, she was the mother of actress Rita Hayworth, who took her professional name from her mother's maiden name.

She was born in 1897 in Washington D.C., the daughter of and . She appeared in the Ziegfeld Follies"Rita Hayworth, Movie Legend, Dies" The New York Times, May 16, 1987, met her husband, Spanish-born dancer Eduardo Cansino, Sr in 1916 and married him in 1917. They had three children. She and Eduardo formed a vaudeville act, The Dancing Cansinos.


Volga Hayworth Cansino died in 1945, aged 47, from undisclosed causes, in Santa Monica, California.
