Waliur Rahman Bhuiyan,
OBE (born 2 July 1952) is one of the top Bangladeshi Businesspersons.
Career
Bhuiyan is the Managing Director and Country Head of
BOC Bangladesh Limited, one of the first British companies to invest in Bangladesh in the 1950s to produce and supply industrial and medical gases.
In recognition of his services towards strengthening the UK-Bangladesh commercial relations, Bhuiyan has been appointed honorary officer of the most excellent Order of the British Empire,
OBE in 2007.

British high commissioner to Bangladesh, "BOC and Waliur Bhuiyan have made a substantial contribution commercially and socially and to this day the company remains a responsible investor".
An active member of the business community, Bhuiyan sits on the boards of the
Chittagong Stock Exchange, the
International Chamber of Commerce and the Bangladesh Employers' Federation. He was formerly the President of the Foreign Investors' Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) of Bangladesh (1999 - 2003). He is regarded as a magnificent 'ambassador' for Bangladesh, Britain and the business community.
Personal life
Bhuiyan is married to Sajeda Rahman and is father of one daughter and one son.
