West Coast Style

West Coast Style is a mountain biking educational website with e-books, video downloads, and two instructional DVDs. All are available for purchase on the West Coast Style website, www.westcoaststyle.net. There is also a substantial amount of free content: blogs, video downloads and e-books.

Each of the DVD's are over an hour in length and include spectacular riding montages and several special features. The special feature titled "Responding to Accidents" will grab the attention of mountain bikers interested in coping with injuries that frequent the sport.

The first of the series is entitled West Coast Style - Mountain Biking, released in 2001 (ASIN: B000GBIUTQ). It was filmed on and around Vancouver’s famous North Shore trails in British Columbia, Canada, and is hosted by Joan Jones, Director of the West Coast School of Mountain Biking (WCSMB), and Elladee Brown, Canadian Downhill Champion and World Downhill Medallist.

West Coast Style - Freeride Fundamentals is the second DVD in the series, released in 2005 (ASIN: B000EHJ8AC). It was filmed on the North Shore, Squamish, Whistler Bike Park, and other renowned trails on Canada’s West Coast. In addition to Joan Jones and Elladee Brown, it was hosted by Daamiann Skelton, coach and former Canadian Downhill Champion, and starred : Ryan Leech, Jay Hoots, Shaums March. West Coast Style - Freeride Fundamentals won a prestigious Telly award, which is a fairly big deal in the television/film/video industry
