We all have fear show up in our business building journey. Women in business are constantly confronting new challenges and with each challenge often comes some form of fear. It may surprise you that no matter how successful women running a business become, if they continue to challenge themselves, they continue to handle their fears. Yep - This includes us! We have fear show up on an everyday basis as we challenge ourselves. Recently we made a decision to take to something new that frightened the cr*p out of us. Regardless of the knot in our stomach or the uneasy feeling, we moved forward. We know to grow our business and grow personally we have to step out of our comfort zone and in to the fear.
One thing we learned through experience, is that anxiety tends to have a familiar voice. For most, that voice may even be someone you know. Frequently, it lies in the back of your mind as a constant whispering or nagging that you hear whenever you are stepping out of your safe place. Maybe your voice of fear sounds something like this: Who do you think you are You are perhaps not smart enough There was no way I can ever afford to do this I will not have enough time This will never work Sound familiar? The sooner you understand this fact, the quicker you will have a way to push through the fear and find the success you desire. What do you hear that paralyzes you and holds you back?
