The Workers' Party of Hungary 2006 (Magyarországi Munkáspárt 2006) is a political party in Hungary.It was created in mid-November 2005 from the internal opposition of the Hungarian Communist Workers' Party. Its leader is János Fratanolo.
It recently asked to become a member of the European Left Party (http://www.european-left.org) and such a request was accepted by the EL Executive Board, during the meeting held in Geneva from 23rd to 25th October 2009.
